Psychedelic Daisy Handmade Leather Keychain

Add a pop of color and flair to your keys with a fun and fashionable keychain wristlet!  These are the PERFECT gift for a teen who recently got their drivers license or some who purchased a new car or home! I personally like to switch mine up with the seasons and have a wristlet keychain for each holiday. (No pressure)

My wristlets are handmade in the USA (by me💁‍♀️).  I use a thick ethically sourced leather as a base, then stitch on a recycled canvas fabric with lots of exciting patterns (and more to come) to the top.  The keychain "O" ring is large and sturdy and comes with a lobster lip for easy addition and removal of keys.  From "tip to tail" this keychain is about 7.5" long and about 1.25" wide.  Now, since these are handmade, no 2 are ever going to the same.  The fabric pattern will be cut from the same as pictured, though it will not be an exact match.  The one you receive, will be just as unique and exciting as you (or the wonderful person you are gifting it to).

I use high quality supplies because it is my intent that these accessories last!  That being said, proper care is important.  These really don't require a lot of maintenance.  Though, if yours does happen to get dirty (messes happen) simply use an old toothbrush and some dish soap to clean the fabric.  It is NOT advised to put them though the wash, as this might cause premature deterioration, warping and discoloring of both the leather and fabric.
 
Now for a little backstory... Hi! My name is Cassie and I love sewing, crafting and all things creative! (Except drawing...I HATE drawing) But, I have a special affinity for sewing. In fact, I have ever since I was a little girl.  I grew up watching my mom sew all sorts of crazy things and finding it absolutely fascinating.  She even had her own sewing pattern making business, you may remember it (or not) it was called Forget-Me-Not Press (ADORABLE right?!).   As I got older I found a love for not only sewing with a machine, but also detailed and intricate hand embroidery! This particular leather wristlet keychain design came to me one day while I was admiring a small Coach® wristlet type keychain I had bust bought.  It was small, WAY smaller than any sort of true "wristlet", but I was obsessed with the shape and feel of it on my keychain.  The next thing I knew, I was in front of my sewing machine with some scrap fabric from a previous project and a strip of leather.  That was almost 6 years ago and that one wristlet is STILL on my key ring and I am STILL obsessed with it.
